The Greek Democritus Workers League is calling for expressions of interest from artists who want to take part in the 2022 Equinox Art Exhibition which will be held at the Steps Gallery from 15 to 24 November.

Organisers said artists have until 30 August to send their expressions of interest along with the official participation form and high-resolution images of their art works.

The first edition of the exhibition, which is for visual artists, sculptors and photographers was held in November, last year at the Steps Gallery in Carlton.

Artists from Melbourne and Perth took part last year and included award-winning artists Con Aslanis, Mimmo Cozzolino, Stavros Messinis, and Kalliroe Tsiatis who is a graduate of the prestigious Metsovon Polytechnic in Greece.

Last year the works exhibited included, oils, acrylics, digital work, photography and sculptures.

The work of 12 artists will be selected to be displayed at the exhibition which again will be held at Steps Gallery, 62 Lygon Street, Carlton.
