A volume of proceedings of the 7th International Summer University Greek Language, Culture and Media in Hydra was published in Sydney, Australia.

The publication is entitled Language and Freedom of Expression, and it commemorates the 200 years since the Greek Revolution aiming to highlight a series of current and modern scientific issues that emphasise the dialectical relationship between language and expression and, more specifically, the Greek language and the freedom of expression.

It was edited by Professor Nicoletta Tsitsanoudis from the University of Ioannina- Mallidis and Dr Patricia Koromvokis from Modern Greek Studies Program at Macquarie University Australia. This was the outcome of a partnership between two universities in Greece and Australia, and under the unprecedented conditions of the global pandemic.
