Almost 3000 people attended the world premiere of Wog Boys Forever at Melbourne’s iconic Palais Theatre on Thursday.

Among the celebrities that walked the red carpet were Ross Wilson and Tania Gogos-Wilson, Olympia Valance and Tom Bellchambers, Sam Frost and Jordie Hansen, Shaun Wilson, Kylie Gulliver, Lydia Schiavello, Mark and Silvana Philippousis, Heloise Pratt and John Stevens as well as Joey and Jane Scandizzo.

“I’m super pumped… I haven’t slept for a week,” Giannopoulos joked to A Current Affair before the premiere.

“But it’s incredible. This film is three years of work, and I can’t wait to see it”.

Wog Boys Forever is the third film for Giannopoulos and his close mate, Vince Colosimo. The Wog Boy was a box office hit in 2000, and was followed up by Wog Boy 2: Kings of Mykonos in 2011.

In the new film, Nick Giannopoulos and Vince Colosimo are joined by Sarah Roberts and comedian trio Sooshi Mango, for the new film that sees Giannopoulos’ character, Steve Karamitsis still single and working as a taxi driver, two decades later. The film also features Liam Seymour and Annabel Marshall-Roth.

Life continues to pass Karamitsis by until one day an old flame unexpectedly jumps into his cab. He realises ex- girlfriend Cleo (Sarah Roberts), might be the one that got away all those years ago. With the help of his buddy Frank (Vince Colosimo) and eccentric neighbours Vince, Guiseppina and Pino [Sooshi Mango], Steve will once again be forced to fight the corrupt forces of evil and use all his wogboy street smarts to try and outwit a very powerful enemy who will stop at nothing to destroy him and everyone he cares about.

Wog Boys Forever will be in cinemas nationwide, on 6 October.
