According to unconfirmed reports, Western United have entered discussions with Greek powerhouse PAOK about a formal affiliation.
WU powerbrokers have been to Greece to negotiate the partnership, but the nature of the relationship is unclear, AussieScout reported.
Trials for WU youngsters to gain international experience at PAOK are a possibility according to a Sporting24 article as it is not the first time the two clubs have collaborated.
Former PAOK striker Aleksandar Prijović is now an integral part of WU’s artillery, something that since 2021 has strengthened the connection between the two clubs.
