Krazy Kon’s new album drop not only topped the charts, he held out superstars Daft Punk who sit at number two on the charts as Greece Mix Volume 27 debuted at No1.

This is the seventh chart topper for the Greek-Australian artist who has been in the industry for over 30 years.

“That is a great way to start the week!,” Krazy Kon told Neos Kosmos.

“My new album Greece Mix 27 has hit Number 1 on the iTunes Dance chart in Australia. I am overwhelmed by the support.”

While he may well have been overwhelmed, the DJ and music producer should be accustomed to the success, continuing the trend of a string of hit albums. His albums chart in Australia and also internationally.

Krazy Kon has toured the world and boasts sell out shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Darwin where he has become a ‘local’, Perth, Brisbane, Townsville, Gold Coast, Canberra and Hobart. Abroad, club goers have seen him at shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Boston, Tampa, Greece and New Zealand.

Having also been a DJ and event promoter on the award-winning Foxtel show Meraki Tv, Krazy Kon masterfully splits his time between creating new albums for his Greece Series, hosting some of Greece’s best singers to play across Australia and his love for Greek music.

Bouncing back from the frustration of the Covid-era lockdowns which limited live events, Krazy Kon has hosted a series of mega club events and performers, many of whom are featured on recent albums.

Most recently he hosted Konstantinos Koufos who also features on his new album as the closing performer in track 18.

While he has a busy summer ahead with the new album and launch, Krazy Kon headlines “Ola Ellinika” in Darwin on 23 December followed by a gig at Bar Glyfada 26 December in Sydney.
