Konstantinos Pantelidis, brother of the beloved Greek singer-songwriter Pantelis Pantelidis who died tragically in a car crash in 2016, is set to launch a tour of Australia in early 2023.

Speaking on the Greek talk show “Truths with Zina”, Konstantinos talked about his late brother, and their shared love of music.

“For us, that is our family, it hasn’t quite sunk in that Pantelis is gone, how could it? We’re surrounded by photos of him at home all day, listening to his songs in the car and being played at shops,” he said.

He added “I always think about the things my brother would tell me, not just in a business sense by the everyday things.”

“I’m always thinking of how he would do it. As far as professional matters are concerned he didn’t give me any special advice because I was so young.”

Remarking on his close relationship with family, Konstantinos said “I’m very lucky to have had my big brother by my side.”

“My mother tells me to be humble, have respect for people and be grateful that they spend their hard-earned money to see me perform. But above all the greatest thing for me is to make my brother proud, that what I’m doing and what I’ll continue to do.”

The death of the elder Pantelidis brother, who’s music spread like wildfire after his self-published YouTube renditions went viral, shocked the world of Greek music to its core; he is remembered fondly by fans as a rising star who left too soon.
