For months now, Neos Kosmos has been receiving complaints from readers who were waiting to get refunded for tickets purchased to see Paola in Australia, following the September 2022 tour cancellation.

Numerous ticketholders reached out from Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, all cities where it was advertised the artist would perform, with the most recent complaint reaching our offices on 10 January.

When Neos Kosmos previously contacted the Australian tour promoter Feggaria Productions for an update on the progress of refunds, they responded that they did not wish to provide comment.

Within days of that communication, some of the ticketholders who had reached out, contacted us again to inform us that their refunds had been processed.

News of more processed refunds came in gradually, as well as unconfirmed accounts of ticketholders being told to keep their ticket if they wished to attend a rescheduled concert in May which was – according to the organiser – to be formally announced on 2 January.

Meanwhile, in a previous communication with a representative of the singer’s management team in early December, Neos Kosmos was told that the tour was cancelled by the Australian promoter.

After no announcement was made on a rescheduled tour and with ticketholders continuing to report waiting on refunds, we contacted Paola’s management team again asking them to confirm whether a rescheduled tour would indeed take place.

The following comments were provided by the singer’s manager in response:

“We have been in discussions with Peter [tour promoter] about a May tour, however no agreement has been reached as yet, given that there are many artists set to visit [Australia] in April and May.

“If the tour is not rescheduled for May (which is currently difficult) after that we have almost no availability with the earliest possible being spring time of 2024.”
