Sts Anargiri Greek Language Centre offers students a wide variety of educational programmes, including the pioneering “Blue Zone – Positive Thinking Values”, which combines Greek language learning and the values of courtesy, mutual respect, cooperation and working for the common good as well as caring for the physical and natural environment.
The school’s curriculum is based on pedagogical practices that promote children’s lifelong language learning, addressing students of all levels and ages, from Kinder to VCE.
Classical Greek lessons are also offered for secondary to VCE students.
The school operates in a safe and engaging environment accredited by the Department of Education with the support of experienced and dedicated educators.
Sts Anargiri Greek Language Centre involves participating in historical and religious commemorative events, while its philosophy is based on community, communication and support for students’ families.
Throughout the school year, Sts Anargyroi holds special events, with emphasis on Apokries, Greek Independence Day and the end of year celebration.
To mark the 60th anniversary of the Oakleigh Greek Community this year, the school is planning a series of celebratory events.
