The Moseley Beach Club, one of the most well-known beach bars at one of South Australia’s most iconic beaches, Glenelg, will celebrate its Hellenism with a ‘Taste of Greece’ on Sunday 2 April.

Management at the venue have made a promise to prospective attendees, that freshly cooked lamb straight off the spit will satisfy customers’ cravings until the last plate is sold.

Moseley Beach Club is the country’s first bar to be situated on a stretch of beach, in a layout highly reminiscent of the hospitality businesses ubiquitous across the waterfronts of the Mediterranean.

And to those who mosey down to the Moseley Beach Club between the hours of 1 and 2 pm, authentic Greek tunes on the bouzouki and goblet drum (toumperleki) await.

It’s the owner’s intent, they’ve made clear via social media, to offer patrons “the Greek beach experience you’ve always dreamed of!”

Since opening in 2018, The Moseley Beach Club’s become a fixture in the local community, attracting countless visitors every year, lending the promenade a unique character all of its own.
