Greek Australian entrepreneur and speed racer Aaron Zerefos has made a strategic move by acquiring the underrated Australian water brand, Add Water, further enhancing his family’s successful portfolio that already includes renowned beverages like Fiji Water, Milk Lab, Soy Boy, and Capi and C Coconut Water.

“I’ve always been a fan of Add Water due to its fantastic vibe. It’s a locally sourced Australian brand, packaged with biodegradable materials right at the source,” Zerefos stated, expressing his enthusiasm for the acquisition.

“Our bottling facility, situated on the north coast of NSW, produces delicious spring water with a high pH level of 7, meeting all the necessary criteria.”

Zerefos has been actively involved in several strategic acquisitions recently, particularly in the coconut water market.

“Over the past few years, I have successfully completed approximately five acquisitions, and I will continue pursuing them as long as the numbers make sense,” Zerefos explained.

With a combined 50 years of experience between himself and his father, he emphasized the importance of forward-thinking in the industry. Reflecting on their family company’s sale, Simotas, during the peak of the dairy market in 2014, Zerefos highlighted how their foresight led them to embrace emerging trends like oat milk, which is now a staple milk alternative in one out of every three coffees.

With the recent acquisition of Add Water and the success of his other brands, Zerefos is now eyeing the next phase of expansion.

“Private equity firms have shown interest in what we are doing at Drink Scene and Aaron’s Organics,” he revealed.

He further hinted at the possibility of an ASX stock listing for AZ Enterprises, considering the strong performance of their products.

Finally, Zerefos also expressed excitement about the potential growth of other brands under their umbrella, such as Bobby’s Drinks and Alive, which are expected to make significant waves in the market within the next 12 months.
