Greek French vocalist George Perris has just released Christmas album, titled The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
Perris has taken a fresh approach on Christmas classics and in the spirit of the season he sings in three languages.
The cover of George Perris’ new Christmas album was on a giant screen in the middle of Times Square in New York, where millions of people gather every day, as part of the promotion of his new album in America.
On December 7, George will treat fans to the music video for the title track, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, a song from his childhood.
A private stream of this festive visual, a precursor to George’s upcoming TV special of the same name, set to air globally and across the United States’ PBS channels.
The album encapsulates the joy and togetherness and showcases a haunting new rendition of Ave Maria and Kelly Clarkson’s Underneath the Tree.
George’s hour-long worldwide TV special, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year! was filmed live at the Piraeus Municipal Theatre in Athens, as a live performance with an 18-piece big band.
Perris also serves as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, dedicated to addressing child abuse, and is an International Ambassador for the Horatio Alger Association, a non-profit organization offering scholarships to students facing adversity.
