The Greek Festival of Sydney is bringing a bit of innovation into this year’s Darling Harbour event with the introduction of a Greek Rap Battle Competition.

The innovative event has been set up as an open invitation for any talented individuals to showcase their rapping abilities while celebrating the Greek culture.

The competition will be part of the entertainment scheduled at the Greek Fest in Tumbalong Park for Sunday, February 25, and will be held at 1.30 p.m.

The rap battle will consist of participants delivering performances exclusively in Greek, with contestants to be judged on both their lyrical prowess and creativity as well as the musical beats that accompanies their rap.

The winner of the competition will receive a grand prize that will be revealed on the day, adding further incentive to encourage individuals to present their lyrical and musical talents.

Anyone interested in participating can do so by registering at the following link.
