The 70th issue of Antipodes is set to launch on Sunday, October 20, with a special dedication to Cyprus exploring the various facets of the island known as the birthplace of Aphrodite and the enduring spirit of its people over the centuries.

In a year marking 50 years since the island’s invasion and subsequent unjust occupation, the publication aims to generate discourse toward resolving this longstanding divide.

The issue will feature works submitted by members and non-members, including poems, short stories, studies, essays, book reviews, and visual arts, in both Greek and English.

Contributions must be original and previously unpublished, adhering to specified length limits: 100 verses for poems, 2000 words for short stories and essays, 2000 words for studies, and 1000 words for book reviews and other critiques. Submissions exceeding these limits will be rejected.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 21, 2024. Works should be sent electronically in Word document format to gacl.editor@gmail.com.
