Students from the MANASIS School of Greek Dance and Culture have given back to the people who support, admire and love us the most – grandparents and the elderly.

Last Saturday they visited Fronditha Care in Clayton to celebrate alongside its residents’ a number of recent festive dates such as International Women’s Day, Harmony Day, Apokries, Lent and most importantly Greek Independence Day.

The school also thanked the Fronditha Care staff and volunteers Maria Andre, Sofia Spyropoulou and Nikos Taratsas who helped organise the visit while encouraging other dance groups, musicians and other entertainers in the wider community to donate their time and services a few times a year and integrate ‘philanthropy’ into their programmes.

Their next visit will be for Orthodox Easter in May.
