The Oakleigh Grammar Parents Association recently hosted a Tavern Night that drew a crowd of over 280 guests.
Saturday June 1 saw the Nafpaktian House welcome families, children, parents, and teachers from Oakleigh Grammar, come together for an evening of entertainment and community bonding.
The event showcased the spirit and strong community ties that define Oakleigh Grammar.
Apart from celebrations, a fundraiser was held to raise funds for various school projects and initiatives.
The night featured Greek cuisine, entertainment by DJ Karvelis, Steve Gold and Chris Patsakos on the bouzouki, and three entertainers for the kids, offering face-painting and balloon twisting, and a photo booth for all.
President of the Parents Association Petros Papasotirou received special thanks along with the entire committee for their efforts and dedication.
In a statement, the school said: “This memorable night not only brought the Oakleigh Grammar community closer but also highlighted the dedication and hard work of the Parents Association in organising such a joyous event.”
“(It) will undoubtedly be remembered as a highlight of the year, reflecting the unity and enthusiasm of the Oakleigh Grammar family.”
