The Greek Australian squad dominated the pitch and snagged a well-deserved three points, effortlessly climbing to the seventh spot in the ranks. On June 22, they’ll show off their skills at home once again against sixth-ranked Sydenham.

On Saturday afternoon, Western Suburbs and Sydenham engaged in an epic turf tussle that resulted in a 1-1 draw. Despite Loukas Pavlos scoring a gorgeous goal for the Greek Australian team in the first half, they were ultimately unable to secure a win and begrudgingly accepted a single point for their efforts. Next up, Western Suburbs will dust off their travel gear and face off against local United in Whittlesea on matchday 12.

Yarraville vanquished Corio in a nail-biting match. The mighty Doxa squad showed grit and snatched the victory with a 2-1 score. Next up, Yarraville takes the field at their den against Ballarat.

The crowd was on fire with passionate supporters from both clubs, creating an electric atmosphere that was matched only by the mouth-watering delicacies served at the canteen. As the saga continues, Banyule will welcome Aris while Malvern City will host the ferocious Springvale White Eagles.

State League 5 – Northern Group

Keon Park A.E.K. got the short end of the stick this weekend. A 2-4 loss at their own turf against Meadow Park has left them six points away from second place, currently held by the Heidelberg Stars.
