It features a variety of dishes such as soups, seafood, meat, antipasto spreads, salads, breads, rice dishes and more, providing a contemporary adaptation of the Mediterranean diet which possesses many health benefits.

‘Growing up with a Greek/Mediterranean influence in my home was such a blessing. Without me realising, it was the start of my interest in cooking, herbs, spices and healthy eating,” Di Lorenzo said.

“In this book, I want to share not just the health benefits of the Mediterranean way of eating but the key principles and lifestyle. This way of eating is a way of life; food is much more than eating. It’s a bonding experience for family and friends.

She explained that the recipes in the book include those she inherited from her family as well as her own creations/twists on traditional dishes.

‘My Mediterranean Life’ is available to pre-order through the book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster Australia, ahead of its October release.
