Theodora Glücksburg, the youngest daughter of former King Constantine II and Queen Anne-Marie, tied the knot with American lawyer Matthew Kumar in a stunning ceremony held at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens.
The wedding took place just after 6pm, officiated by Bishop Dorotheos II of Syros, Tinos, Andros, Kea, and Milos. The bride’s brothers, Pavlos, Nikolaos, and Philippos Glücksburg, were among the groomsmen.
The entrance of the cathedral was beautifully adorned with white flowers, creating an elegant backdrop for the special occasion. Crowds gathered early outside the church to catch a glimpse of the happy couple on their big day.
The event attracted a number of royal family members from around the world, along with international journalists who arrived in Greece for the three-day celebration.
The eyes of the global media were especially focused on the wedding and the lavish reception that followed.
