The South Australian Government has opened applications for the 2025-26 Community Language School Infrastructure Grants, offering up to $100,000 to help accredited community language schools improve or expand their facilities.

The initiative, announced by Minister for Multicultural Affairs Zoe Bettison, aims to support these schools in their role of preserving cultural heritage and empowering students to connect with their languages and traditions.

“Community language schools play a vital role in keeping languages alive within our community,” said Minister Bettison.

“They enable students to learn and share their languages, cultures, and traditions with pride.”

Eligible multicultural organisations with accredited language programs are encouraged to apply before the January 27, 2025, deadline.

The application form and funding guidelines are accessible online at www.multicultural.sa.gov.au.
