As the teams lay the foundation for their success, one thing is for certain – the upcoming season will be filled with exhilarating matches, unpredictable outcomes, and a frenzy of passion from players and supporters alike.
Buckle up, because the NPL is about to take us on one wild and thrilling ride.
As summer approaches, Hellas Football Club is already making moves to secure a successful season under the guidance of Argentinian coach Esteban Quintas. With their history of dominating the regular season but faltering in the grand final, the team is determined to break the pattern and finally bring home the title.
In their pursuit of victory, the Greek Australian club has announced the signing of four talented players. Luca Durso is making a triumphant return to the team, while Charlie Sheen, fresh off a successful season with Port Melbourne Sharks, is crossing over to Lakeside. Joining them is Andrew Mesourounis, who began his career with Hellas and returns after a positive stint with the Sharks.
And perhaps the most exciting signing of all is Campbell Dovinson, a former Western United player known for his speed and goal-scoring abilities.
With these additions, coach Quintas has his sights set on nothing less than utter domination on the field.
Peter Kokotis welcomed Campbell Dovinson to the club.
“Campbell is a former South junior player and someone we identified as a young talent capable of making an impact. He previously worked with Esteban in the club’s junior ranks many years ago, so we are excited to see him back in Blue and White.”
Ange & the Boss: Puskas in Australia

In the case of South Melbourne, two names stand out amongst the rest – Angelos Postecoglou and Ferenc Puskas.
These legendary figures are the focus of the documentary, “Ange & the Boss: Puskas in Australia”.
With a clever combination of interviews, archival footage, and testimonies, the film not only delves into the impact of Postecoglou on Australian football but also highlights Puskas’ immense contributions in the sport’s development in the country.
It’s a story of challenges, triumphs, and enduring legacies that will make you question the evolution of the sport in the face of cultural changes and obstacles. To celebrate this incredible project, the club has organized a special screening at the Astor Cinema in St Kilda on December 4 at 7pm.
