The advisory team for Donald Trump, the 47th President of the United States, boasts significant Greek-American representation. These key individuals play pivotal roles in shaping Trump’s administration through fundraising, strategic counsel, and participation in government initiatives, underscoring the growing political influence of the Greek-American community.

Michael Kratsios

Michael Kratsios, with roots in Chios and Kastoria, has been appointed head of the Office of Science and Technology Policy. Previously serving as Trump’s Chief Technology Officer during his first term, Kratsios will now advise David Sacks, the administration’s “AI and Crypto Czar.”
A former CEO of Scale AI, Kratsios brings expertise in technology policy and leadership to the administration.

Michael Rigas

Michael Rigas has been nominated as Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources. Rigas, who served in the Trump administration as Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget, has a proven track record in streamlining operations across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.

Meanwhile, three Greek-American Republican lawmakers have emerged as influential figures aligning with Trump’s vision while showcasing their shared cultural heritage.

Gus Bilirakis represents Florida’s 12th Congressional District and has been a staunch supporter of U.S.–Greece–Cyprus relations. As co-chair of the Congressional Hellenic Caucus, he advocates for economic and strategic partnerships in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Nicole Malliotakis, representing New York’s 11th District, recently met with Trump to discuss pressing issues such as state tax policies and healthcare reforms.

Mike Haridopolos, a freshman Congressman from Florida’s 8th District, champions transparency and conservative fiscal policies, including discussions on the strategic acquisition of Greenland to bolster U.S. interests.

Christos Marafatsos, President of Greek-Americans for Trump, spearheading outreach initiatives within the community.

Stavros Anthony, Lieutenant Governor of Nevada and former Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Chief, who supports Trump’s economic agenda.

John Catsimatidis, a billionaire businessman with close ties to Trump, recognised for his influence in Republican circles.

Among those attending the inauguration were Maria Sakkari and Konstantinos Mitsotakis, Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s son, invited by congressman Gus Bilirakis.
