AHEPA Greek School is an accredited Community Languages School. It was established in 2006 to offer tuition in Greek Language and Culture to Levels Prep to Secondary. The school caters for students of all cultural backgrounds who are interested in learning the Greek language.

Mrs Lambrou also explains that the school’s curriculum program is aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, meets all the essential standards and is covering the aspects of Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Thinking, Viewing, Singing and Dancing as well as incorporating Drama in Greek Mythology and History.

“Our students feel safe and happy coming to school. They are engaged, they enjoy learning, and as a result, they develop positive social skills for the rest of their lives. Students benefit from a broad variety of activities in the classroom and appreciate undertaking special projects,” adds Lambrou. AHEPA Greek School operates on the premises of Ivanhoe Girls Grammar School, Marshal Street, Ivanhoe, Victoria, on Mondays between 4.30pm-7.30pm, in conjunction with Ivanhoe Girls’ term dates and public holidays.
