A call is being put out for entry into this year’s Antipodean Palette group art exhibition, set to take place from June 12-22.
The annual event, organised by the Greek-Australian Cultural League (GACL) celebrates diverse works of artists within the Greek Australian community.
In its 15th year, the Antipodean Palette provides a forum to present and discuss works influenced by our different cultures.
Preparations are under way with emerging and established artists all encouraged to participate.
The selected artists and their works will also be featured in the GACL’s annual bilingual ‘Antipodes’ periodical, this year celebrating its 51st year in circulation.
The exhibition will be held at Steps Gallery, 62 Lygon Street, Carlton, Melbourne.
The gallery will open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5 pm, and during the weekends 11am to 3pm. The launch of the exhibition will take place on June 14.
Artists are invited to express their interest and apply for their entry application online via email: antipodeanpalette@gmail.com. Applications close on Friday May 9 at 5pm.
