The Greek Democritus Workers League is set to recognise International Women’s Day in a significant event that also coincides with the organisation’s 90th anniversary.

“Democritus” will host their event on Saturday, 15 March at 2.30pm, at its location in Northcote, highlighting the ongoing struggle of all women for equality, justice, and social progress.

The event will honour all the women who have led the charge in labour and social movements, featuring speeches to further highlight the significance of women’s activism and its lasting impact.
