Chris Demos is back in the comedy scene with his new show, Actually Kinda Hot.
“Although that might sound conceited, when you think about it, it’s not the compliment you think it is,” the Greek Australian comedian told Neos Kosmos.
“You’d never hear it in wedding vows or comment it on a thirst trap. It’s always said as a kind of shock realisation.”
The show will run as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival at The Butterfly Club from April 7–20 at 8:30 pm.

After his successful debut in Australia’s comedy scene last year, Demos aimed to create a “more ambitious show,” this time.
One that “subtly explores themes of fear and anxiety juxtaposed against the inability to take anything seriously.”
“Actually Kinda Hot is centred around one story, a date in three parts, but diverges into tangents and anecdotes addressing such topics as mechanics of engines, Judge Judy, claw foot bath tubs and budget airline dining options.”
Demos recently performed at the Sydney Greek Festival’s Greek Youth Comedy Gala and is now ready to come to Melbourne for another round of laughs.
