Peggy Zina took to the stage at Kinisi at Trak on Thursday, delivering an electrifying performance that left her Melbourne audience in awe.
The well-known singer, known for her laika hits and heartfelt ballads, performed an array of Greek songs spanning genres and generations.
This marked her fourth visit to Australia, once again organised by local promoter Kostas Tagalakis.
“Beyond her incredible vocal performance, her energy on stage is simply unmatched,” said Tagalakis, who noted that tickets sold out almost immediately after her tour was announced.
Throughout the night, the crowd responded with thunderous applause, waves of cheering, and the traditional Greek gesture of admiration—showers of flowers raining down on the singer throughout the night.
Zina is touring Australia with her full orchestra and will soon perform in Adelaide, Canberra, and Brisbane. The tour comes shortly after the star’s milestone 50th birthday celebration, which she marked joyfully with close friends and family.
