A new burger experience has just arrived in Melbourne creating an endless line of foodies at the corner of Lonsdale and Russell streets.

Goody’s Burger House is Greece’s leading fast-food brand name and now it has its own place in the heart of Victoria, at the Greek Centre’s ground floor, the first branch in Australia.

It also holds first place in the quick service restaurant market in Southeastern Europe, and is number one in brand recognition in the food service category.

Owned by Greek food conglomerate Vivartia, Goody’s has launched its dynamic growth across Europe, spanning 150 restaurants in Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Skopje, Belarus, Indian Ocean (Mayotte), with Kosovo and Saudi Arabia set to follow.

For Australia, the company that holds the Master Franchise rights is Mediterranean Casual Restaurants and the franchise rights have been acquired by prominent Greek Australian businessman Kostas Tagalakis who has plans for at least ten Goody’s restaurants to open in the major urban cities of Australia within the next five years.

Goody’s follow a contemporary fast casual dining model, focusing on the customer who seeks aesthetics within the context of a casual burger house.

On the menu level, the recommendations are primarily based on the variety of burgers from 100 per cent locally sourced ground beef, but also signature dishes, fresh salads and BBQ Chicken wings.

The superior service adds value to an all-around great customer experience, with specially trained staff welcoming customers, explaining the menu in detail and making friendly suggestions.

The Greek Centre is confident Goody’s will become the new benchmark in the fast casual dining market, and will help bring Lonsdale Street back to life.

The main concern of the company is to maintain the brand’s high value by constantly upgrading the customer experience, focusing on the consumer while offering a clear and unique taste footprint and the uncompromising quality of raw materials.
