Samsung premiered a plethora of connected appliances at the IFA Show this year.

From Internet fridges to connected dishwashers and washing machines, the Korean giant showed off its rendition of the ‘Smart Home.’ Internet fridges aren’t a new concept; LG launched a product a decade ago during the hype of the Internet bubble with a $50,000 price-tag.

I suspect they didn’t sell too many. This time around it seems connected fridges not only become much more affordable, but also have many more features than the first generation models. No news on when these products will hit Australia, but Samsung have laid the foundation for connected appliances to start finding their way into our homes.
