Ingredients
100 grams dried organic apricots
100 grams dried organic figs
100 grams dried organic peaches
20 grams of whole blanched almonds
1 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
1 vanilla bean
1 teaspoon of honey
2 strips of lemon rind
Cold water
Method
1. Place all fruit and spices in saucepan and cover with water and bring to the boil slowly
2. Cook for 15 -20 minutes
3. Remove aniseed and cinnamon stick
4. Serve sprinkled with the almonds a little cinnamon and nutmeg and light plain yoghurt
