Victoria is continuing its brilliant record with zero new COVID-19 cases and no further related deaths for the tenth day running.

Monday’s figures bring the rolling 14-day average number of cases down to just 0.4, however there have been two cases in the past fortnight from an unknown source.

Victoria’s Premier Daniel Andrews confirmed there are now four active cases of coronavirus across the state, including two receiving treatment in hospital.

Significant announcements were made on Sunday for further easing of COVID-19 restrictions. These included the lifting of the “ring of steel” which separated Melbourne from regional Victoria for 123 days.
