Yannis Kotsiras, one of the most loved and appreciated Greek singers for the past two decades is in Melbourne.

The influential muso, whose songs bring folk and alternative together, is performing at the Palais Theatre tonight, Saturday, accompanied by his band that has travelled with him all the way from Greece.

Kotsiras, who often visits Australia and especially Melbourne has already performed in front of sold-out audiences in Sydney and Adelaide.

Ahead of his Melbourne concert, he took some time out to catch up with another Kotsiras, Nicholas.

Nicholas Kotsiras is an Australian politician, former state Minister of Culture and member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly for the Liberal Party.

The two cousins, had a yarn over coffee and the print edition of Neos Kosmos.
