In a truly epic Year 12 Muck-Up Day gesture, the ingenious students of Melbourne Grammar decided to take their pranks to a global level by raising the Greek flag high above the school’s citadel.

This daring act may not quite match the historical significance of the Greek flag being hoisted on the Acropolis following the liberation from fascist occupation in World War II, but it certainly deserves a spot in the annals of student shenanigans.

As Otter famously quipped in the classic college film Animal House, “I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part.”

Folks, the students at Melbourne Grammar took Otter’s wisdom to heart and executed a gesture so futile and absurd that it will undoubtedly go down in history as a legendary Muck-Up Day prank.

We can only imagine the audacity it took to orchestrate such an operation, with flags, ropes, and perhaps a hint of Greek mythology to inspire them.

It’s a testament to the audacious spirit of Melbourne Grammar students.

So, here’s to Melbourne Grammar, a school that not only imparts knowledge but encourages its students to make gloriously pointless gestures.

Muck-Up Day at Melbourne Grammar will never be the same again, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with nex year.

Go Melbourne Grammar!
