Aussie actress Rebel Wilson is in Athens visiting the Acropolis while on a European vacation.

Wilson took to social media to share photos visiting the site, posting a series of images.

“‘ACROPOLIS NOW! (Australians from the ’80s will get that!),” she wrote in her caption alongside the photos.

Her joke of course is reference to the sitcom Acropolis Now that between 1989 and 1992, set in a Greek café starring household Greek Australian comedians and actors Nick Giannopoulos, George Kapiniaris and Mary Coustas.

Holidaying in Europe means the Pitch Perfect star could be planning to meet her fiancée Ramona Agruma’s parents.

During an interview on the Today show in the US, Rebel revealed she is yet to meet her fiancée’s parents, despite the pair getting engaged in 2022.

“Ramona was born in Latvia, and it’s not as LGBTQ+-friendly as other countries are,” she said.

“There are still parts of the world that aren’t as accepting.”

She added that the couple will be soon heading to Europe for a holiday and she hopes this will allow her to finally meet her future in-laws and introduce their 19-month-old daughter Royce to them in person.

“‘I’m really excited to meet them because I know they are very smart. Ramona’s mother is a doctor. Roycie is the real icebreaker. They’ve been FaceTiming with her.”
