A fundraising event will take place today Friday, 22 November, and Saturday, 23 November, at the AHEPA NSW hall in Rockdale.

Organised by Thalassea Store, the event aims to raise awareness and funds for groundbreaking cancer and chronic disease research led by distinguished Professor Vasso Apostolopoulos.

The event supports the Healthy Lifestyle and Chronic Diseases Program at RMIT University in Melbourne, where Dr Apostolopoulos spearheads pioneering studies into cancer treatments, chronic diseases, and healthy aging.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about her research and the challenges she faces in advancing life-saving therapies.

Dr Apostolopoulos is widely recognised for her innovative contributions to immunology and her dedication to improving global health outcomes through research.

To further support the cause, 10 per cent of sales from Thalassea Store during the event will be donated to RMIT University’s cancer research initiatives.

Additionally, all Thalassea products will be available at a 15 per cent discount throughout the two-day event.

Guests will also enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks.
