She may be 100 years old, but that didn’t stop one yiayia from dancing an amazing tsamiko during Easter.
She danced to her heart’s content at the Easter feast (panygiri) held at Skala in Nafpaktos, situated on a bay on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth.
She stole the show and received warm applause for her performance. Thanks to her swell moves, it was hard to guess her age. She initially used her walking stick and then put it down, leading the dance line while singing to the delight of the crowds.
Could dancing be the secret of longevity?
