Greece’s Katerina Duska’s performance had her dressed in pink surrounded by fencers and acrobats, while Australia’s Kate Miller-Heidke spun on a stick while singing.

Both women managed to make it to the 10 qualifiers from the 1st Semi-Final of Eurovision 2019. Tamta also made the finals, representing Cyprus.

Another surprise was San Marino’s Serhat who secured his small state’s second appearance at the finals.

Portugal, a favourite, failed to make it through to the finals.
