Police have charged Bradley Edwards, 34, for the murder of Ioli Hadjilyra, 26, whose body was found dumped in a north Brisbane Park last week.

Edwards was arrested on the corner of Flix Street and Lutwyche Roade in Lutwyche at noon on Tuesday after members of the public alerted the police.

He was charged with murder and appeared at Brisbane Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday morning. The matter was briefly mentioned and was adjourned for a mention again on 8 October.

Edwards did not appear in court.
