George Longinidis is committed to take the World WOKA Heavyweight kickboxing title on July 24 at Malvern Town Hall.

As he said to Neos Kosmos English Edition, (NKEE), “This World title was held by my brother Stan back in the 90’s and now I have that opportunity to claim it!”

He will be fighting Asian heavyweight champion, from Thailand, Ramba “M-16″ Sithsiamboh. An opponent with a fight record of 78 fights 52 wins 18 losses 8 draws 22 KO’s.”

Longinidis is aware of the weight on his shoulders and the significant challenge he is facing, he said to NKEE: “His trainer has predicted that Ramba will stop me in four rounds of the scheduled 5x3min fight!”

But Longinidis maintains a calm confidence when talking to NKEE, “My current record stands at 12 fights 12 wins 8 KOs and I hold the Commonwealth title.”

He is deeply committed to the task of “This is a childhood dream of mine and I will put every ounce of power, energy and savvy in that ring to make sure I don’t walk away disappointed.”

The bout promoted by Peter Maniatis also coincides with the 300th episode of the KO Boxing show on Channel 31.
