“Go the wog boys!!!!!! ; )” declared designer Alex Perry on Nick Giannopoulos’ Twitter page. The twittersphere became a place for Hellenic male pride as Perry, alongside make-up man Napolean Perdis and actor, director and comedian Giannopoulos, all got in on the action.
Friends online and in real life, Giannopoulos started the posts by responding to Perry telling the world that his show for the Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival had sold out.
“My show for LMFF this Friday is officially sold out!!! Woo hoo… 1500 people… Excited much???” Perry tweeted on Monday.
“Bravo vre,” responded Giannopoulos celebrating his friends success. In a separate display of Greek ‘bromance’, Giannopoulos replied to a post from Perdis about missing out on catching up in LA with this tweet: “Yiasou! No probs. Let’s do it soon…coz I need lots and lots of makeups! ;)”.
