A team of university students from Greece, lead by Iason Hatzikostas have created an app that is capable of deciphering the cry of a baby into words.
The app, which goes by the name iCry2Talk, uses algorithms to convert baby cries into a intelligible language that can actually make sense to adults.
What’s next for the group of young entrepreneurs representing Greece in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) that will take place in China next April.
GSEA supports 1,700 businesses that have been founded by students from 60 countries under the auspices of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), established in 1987.
EO is the world’s most powerful network for and for entrepreneurs counting 12,000 business members and 160 branches across 50 countries.
The competition will be a unique opportunity for the Greek students to present their ideas with like-minded individuals and to better establish the Hellenic EO outpost.
iCry2Talk, will be presented to several potential app buyers and who knows? Perhaps by 2020 humanity will finally be able to solve one of its most pressing communication issues.
