Inspired by Eros, the god of love, just over a week after celebrating St Valentine’s Day, Mellisa Pateras’ luxurious and cruelty-free cosmetics line joins Antipodes Festival this weekend 25-26 February.

In the heart of Melbourne, beauty-lovers can have a close look to one of Australia’s most successful up-and-coming makeup brands at next week’s festival on Lonsdale Street.

Meleros, is designed in Australia and is infused with natural antioxidants, Vitamin E, apricot seed oil and vanillin made in Greece, for a lush and moisturising finish.

The beauty brand’s founder who has brought her dream products to life having drawn on her 20 years of experience working with some of the worlds largest luxury brands, with 10 of those years with Chanel, is excited to showcase her products at this year’s Antipodes Festival and connect with more women in real life.

“I can’t wait to show everyone how makeup can empower us to look and feel their very best self, and helps us to show up in our lives with confidence each and every day,” she tells Neos Kosmos.

“The Eros Omorphos collection of impactful colours includes elegant shades of nudes, vibrant and vivacious pinks, powerful peaches, and deep and daring reds, inspired by the Greek summer.”

The entire collection is non-comedogenic and not tested on animals, and is paraben and fragrance free with the added benefit of being allergy and hypo-allergenic tested, with shades in a variety of finishes including matte, high-gloss, satin and sheer.

“This has been a long time coming and I am bringing all of my products to the festival. This is the first collection we have had made in Greece and Melbourne’s most vibrant Hellenic feast is the best place to hit the ground, alongside so many other Greek vendors and creatives.”

“The quality of ingredients and the level of quality in Greece is outstanding. I think Greek products are very understated and need to be seen,” Pateras said.

Find Melissa and swatch the Meleros shades and products in real life from 10am to 11pm on Saturday, 25 and from 10am to 10pm on Sunday, 26 February at stall number W36.
