Vasilis Karras is making a comeback more energetic than ever, after a serious adventure with his health.

As revealed by Vangelis Papadopoulos, during an interview on ANT1 TV show ‘Proino’, Karras wants to return to singing with a special international tour by Despina Vandi’s side.

The famous Greek songstress has reportedly accepted her colleague’s proposal while further information confirms that the first stop of the tour will be Australia.

It is worth noting that Despina Vandi kickstarted her music career alongside Vasilis Karras, the first person to believe in her talent over 30 years ago.

Their Australian tour will see them reunite three decades after their first collaboration and 15 years after their last duet on the iconic stage of Greece’s most famous live music nightclub, Diogenis Studio.

“It’s very, very good. He wants to come back. We’re planning great things for the future and soon you’ll hear something very, very good. He experienced all this hardship. We can’t say too many details. All we can say is that he asked to do something big overseas,” Papadopoulos told ANT1 TV.

“He asked Despina Vandi to be next to him, she accepted the proposal and soon you will see great things. He feels good, he has entered the studio, he is writing songs, he will have some surprises with his new song that has to do with his health adventure,” he added.
