Thousands passed by the Cathedral for the Annunciation of Our Lady to pay their last respects to Archbishop Stylianos or attend the funeral.

A larger than life religious figure that saw the expansion of the Greek Orthodox Church in Australia, an era comes to an end with the passing of the great spiritual leader.

Neos Kosmos was there to cover the events. Below are a mix of photographs by our journalist George Mpliokas and also by Nick Bourdo Photography on behalf of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia. They capture the final tribute to a charismatic man.
